Abstract:
Based on Permendikbud No. 137 concerning National Standards for Early Childhood Education, early childhood educators are professionals in charge of planning, implementing learning, and assessing learning outcomes, as well as providing guidance, training, care, and protection. Therefore, to support the learning process in teaching and learning activities, it is necessary for the creativity of teachers to develop, plan and implement their use in the use of teaching media such as Educational Game Tools, better known as APE. Based on initial observations, the phenomenon that occurs in the early childhood education environment is found to be low in the use of Educational Game Tools and teacher creativity in the learning process. The fact that exists in the field is what makes researchers carry out programs that can improve the quality of teachers in East Lombok through learning development training. This training for professional educators or teachers is a technique for planning to teach as well as a way to increase effective and efficient learning. The learning development training carried out was “Training on Making Learning Media to Improve Skills in Developing Educational Game Tools from Used Materials in Selong City, East Lombok”. Based on the discussion of the research results in accordance with the formulation of the problem and the expected objectives of the research, it is concluded that training in making learning media can significantly improve skills in developing educational game tools for former kindergarten and elementary school teachers in Selong City, East Lombok.
